The Group therefore seeks to strengthen supplier capability through robust selection processes, clear expectations, and ongoing monitoring.  

Supplier capability development begins with a well-rounded review of supplier qualifications, including financial standing, workforce readiness, equipment or source availability, experience, expertise, past performance, delivery capability, warranty support, after-sales service, and long-term growth potential.  

The Group also encourages suppliers to operate in line with its broader standards on product and service quality, general standards, environmental standards, and fair and transparent business conduct. This is reinforced through procurement practices that incorporate Green Procurement principles and require compliance with agreed terms and expectations. 

This approach helps the Group work with suppliers that are reliable, capable, and aligned with its direction on quality, governance, and environmental and social responsibility, all of which are essential to sustainable procurement over the long term.
