Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions

Vichaivej International Hospital Group prepares and discloses group-level greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data covering Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3, with 2024 (B.E. 2567) designated as the Base Year for performance tracking and long-term climate target setting. The Group also continuously reviews and verifies its GHG emissions data to ensure that disclosed information is accurate, transparent, and decision-useful for the development of future emissions reduction measures. In addition, the Group’s GHG emissions data is verified by an external party.

In 2025 (B.E. 2568), the Group’s total GHG emissions were 9,257 tCO2e, down from 10,126 tCO2e in the base year, representing a reduction of 869 tCO2e, or 8.58%. Total emissions comprised 1,394 tCO2e for Scope 1, 5,141 tCO2e for Scope 2, and 2,722 tCO2e for Scope 3.

When considering the GHG emissions trend during 2023–2025 (B.E. 2566–2568), total emissions increased significantly in 2024, from 2,438 tCO2e to 10,126 tCO2e, consistent with the designation of 2024 as the base year for group-level environmental data reporting. In 2025, the Group was able to reduce total emissions to 9,257 tCO2e. By scope, Scope 1 increased slightly from 1,383 tCO2e to 1,394 tCO2e, while Scope 2 decreased from 5,848 tCO2e to 5,141 tCO2e, and Scope 3 decreased from 2,895 tCO2e to 2,722 tCO2e. These results reflect the impact of the Group’s ongoing efforts to improve energy efficiency, resource management, and the adoption of alternative energy sources in hospital operations.

The Group will continue to monitor, analyze, and strengthen its GHG reduction measures to support progress toward its long-term Net Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions target, while further enhancing the completeness and comparability of its climate performance disclosure.
