9 โรคเสี่ยงอุบัติเหตุ ไม่ควรขับรถ

1. โรคที่เกี่ยวกับสายตาต้อหิน ต้อกระจก จอประสาทตาเสื่อม

จากเดิมกรมการขนส่งทางบกได้กำหนด 5 โรคต้องห้ามในการขับขี่ ได้แก่ 1.โรคเท้าช้างในระยะที่ปรากฏอาการเป็นที่น่ารังเกียจแก่สังคม 2.โรควัณโรคในระยะแพร่กระจายเชื้อ 3.โรคเรื้อน 4.โรคพิษสุราเรื้อรัง และ 5.โรคติดยาเสพติดให้โทษ และในการขอใบขับขี่รถทุกชนิดต้องมีใบรับรองแพทย์

แต่ตั้งแต่ 19 กุมภาพันธ์ 2564 เป็นต้นไป การขอใบขับขี่และขอต่ออายุใบอนุญาตขับรถทุกชนิดทุกประเภทต้องมีใบรับรองแพทย์ (เดิมการต่ออายุใบขับขี่ไม่มีการกำหนดให้ใช้ใบรับรองแพทย์ ) โดยที่ใบรับรองแพทย์นั้นต้องแสดงให้เห็นว่าผู้นั้นไม่มีโรคประจำตัวหรือสภาวะของโรคที่ผู้ประกอบวิชาชีพเวชกรรมเห็นว่าอาจเป็นอันตรายขณะขับรถตามที่แพทยสภากำหนด ซึ่งอยู่ในระหว่างการกำหนดโรคหรือสภาวะของโรคต้องห้ามในการขอใบขับขี่ ก่อนมีผลใช้บังคับ 19 กุมภาพันธ์ 2564 ส่วนจะมีกำหนดโรคต้องห้ามอย่างไร จะนำข้อมูลมาบอกกันต่อไป
